The Eastern Samar Provincial Government Employees Organization (ESPGEO) held its first general assembly of the year on July 3 at the Provincial Capitol Gym, bringing together regular employees of the provincial government.
Four months after assuming office in February, ESPGEO officers presented the organization’s accomplishments and initiatives aimed at promoting the welfare of government employees.
The officers also reported on the resolutions adopted by the organization to advance the interests and well-being of its members.
A financial report was also presented, showing the organization’s current funds amounting to ₱523,802.55.
The oath-taking of employee members was also conducted during the assembly.
Certificates of appreciation were awarded to the outgoing ESPGEO officers who served during the 2024–2026 term.
Out of the organization’s 819 members, 630 were present at the assembly.
Gov. RV Evardone attended the event, reaffirming his support for provincial government employees and his commitment to increasing their Collective Negotiation Agreement incentive this year. (TAC-JD
