Marking his first year in office, Gov. RV Evardone brought free government services to island communities of Guiuan through a two-day SeRVisyo Caravan.
On its first day, the caravan brought essential public services to 3,335 residents in the island communities of Brgy. Buenavista, San Jose, Hamorawon, and Banaag in Manicani Island.
The team also brought essential services to the island barangay of Victory.
During the outreach, residents received free medical checks, dental care, and vitamins. Local farmers also received free vegetable seeds and agricultural support to help improve their crops and livelihoods.
The governor engaged with local barangay officials to identify community priorities and determine how the provincial government can best assist them.
The caravan aims to bring essential services directly to the grassroots, ensuring that even the most remote areas receive the support they need.
By bridging the gap between the provincial capitol and local communities, the initiative seeks to streamline the delivery of healthcare, livelihood programs, and infrastructure support based on the actual, real-time demands of residents.
