Sinforosa “Nanay Posa” Abod Bagual, a 101-year-old resident of Brgy. Sto. Niño, Quinapondan, received her ₱50,000 cash incentive from the provincial government.
The financial assistance was provided in recognition of Bagual’s milestone as a centenarian. Born in 1925, Nanay Posa is the mother of nine children. Despite her age, she remains spirited and continues to exercise her independence in her daily life, going on morning strolls in their yard.
When asked how she plans to use the financial assistance, she said that she intends to treat herself to some of her favorite snacks, including ice cream.
