Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) law students preparing for the upcoming Bar examinations received a strong commitment of support from Gov. RV Evardone.
During a courtesy visit, ESSU Societas Discipulorum Legis President Francis Kim Agus, Bar Operations Chair Marijun Sy, and the BarOps Committee personally appealed to Gov. Evardone for assistance for the province’s aspiring lawyers who will take the Bar examinations from September 6 to 13.
Under the commitment, each of the 50 Bar examinees will receive ₱6,000 in financial assistance, amounting to a total of ₱300,000.
The governor also committed support for the transportation needs of the families, professors, faculty and staff, and law students who will be present to welcome and support the examinees on the final day of the examinations (TAC-GBP)
