The provincial government of Eastern Samar joins a tree-planting activity, led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, to celebrate Philippine Arbor Day with the theme “Luntiang Bukas” (Green Future) today, June 25, 2026 at the DENR Agroforestry Farm, Barangay Canyupay, Borongan City.
The activity brings together various departments of the provincial government and DENR representatives to support the national government’s massive reforestation campaign.
The initiative aims to foster environmental conservation and restore local ecosystems.(SEJ)
