Eastern Samar Gov. RV Evardone joined the First Quarter Full Council Meeting of the Regional Development Council (RDC) 8, led by Leyte Gov. Carlos Jericho Petilla as chairperson, reaffirming the province’s active role in regional development planning.
The RDC is the highest planning and policymaking body in every region. It is responsible for preparing and monitoring regional development plans, aligning national programs with local government priorities, and reviewing major projects to ensure they support economic growth and improved public services.
Gov. Evardone’s participation highlights Eastern Samar’s continued commitment to programs and initiatives that strengthen development across Eastern Visayas.
