To enhance its operational
efficiency, the Provincial Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) will implement a Persons with Disability Data Management System (PWD-DMS) using a specialized computer workstation donated by the National Council on Disability Affairs.
According to Persons with Disability Affairs Regional Federation President Hendrick Dacuyan, the transition from manual filing to a centralized, real-time database ensures the integrity of constituent data and guarantees that provincial benefits are distributed equitably.
Furthermore, the PWD-DMS serves as a robust analytical tool for evidence-based planning.
In times of crisis, the system facilitates rapid emergency response by providing real-time data to rescue teams, reinforcing Gov. RV Evardone’s vision of a pro-poor and disaster-resilient province where no Estehanon is left behind.
