Tingog Party-list extends relief assistance to
Eastern Samar yesterday, Nov. 11, 2025, due to typhoon
#UwanPH.
The relief items include 10 boxes of Energen, eight boxes of Fudgee Bars, 15 boxes of sardines, seven boxes of noodles, seven boxes of coffee, 70 sacks of rice each weighing 25 kilos, 100 buckets, and 200 blankets.
The donations were received by Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office head Engr. Thomas Campomanes, who said the items will be immediately distributed to the areas heavily affected by the typhoon.
Gov. RV Evardone expressed his gratitude to Tingog Party-list for the timely assistance, noting the challenges in procuring supplies due to limited stocks.
The governor added that the province’s own relief goods remain stranded, while about 6,000 family food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development have yet to arrive.
According to Jennifer Padual, the area coordinator of Tingog Partylist in Eastern Samar, the assistance was made upon the request of Tingog Party-list and Congressman Martin Romualdez to support areas affected by Typhoon Uwan.
