The unique design highlights the province’s rich marine habitat and world-class underwater landscapes.
The lighting ceremony was led by Gov. RV Evardone, together with former governor Ben P. Evardone, Board Member Atty. PJ Evardone, provincial government employees, and local residents.
The underwater theme was inspired by Eastern Samar’s recent achievement during a two-day pitch for a proposed dive resort project, where the province placed third among 19 presenters. It is set to present the project at the United Nations.
