Key officials from the provincial government of Eastern Samar successfully completed a health and medical training program in Seoul, South Korea, as part of the Guiuan Felipe Abrigo Memorial Hospital Reconstruction Project under the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Hyundai Asan.
The week-long program, held from October 13 to 22, focused on strengthening the province’s healthcare system through lectures and site visits to advanced medical institutions, in partnership with Ewha Womans University.
Representing the province were Gov. RV Evardone, Vice Gov. Maricar Sison-Goteesan, Provincial Budget Officer Atty. Cyril Alzate, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Marian Esiderio, Committee Chair on Health Board Member Atty. Byron Suyot, PDRRMO Head Engr. Thomas Campomanes, PGSO OIC Ruel Gadiz, FAMH Chief of Hospital and OIC Dr. Clarinda Surpia Gerodias, Janus Galla, and John Jovi Loyola, FAMH staff.
