The Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremonies of the newly elected officials of Eastern Samar were held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Capitol Grounds in Borongan City. The oath was administered by Judge Elvie Lim.
Among those who took their oath were Governor-elect RV Evardone, Congressman Sheen Gonzales, Vice Governor Maricar Sison-Goteesan, and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

Witnessed by municipal and city officials, barangay officials, supporters, government employees, representatives from national agencies and various sectors.
A formal turnover of the mace and documents was also conducted from outgoing Governor Ben P. Evardone to the newly sworn Gov. RV Evardone, symbolizing the transfer of duties and responsibilities.
